Index mode doesn't work and defaults to node mode #258

Index mode is not being enabled and defaults to the node mode. I'm using a datapack to make this book it works fine, just defaults to node mode. I set the display_mode for the book.json and category both to index but the book always shows the category and entry in node mode.

I realised that this feature is not ported to 1.20.1
