Endgame Equipment #14

I feel like an endgame set of armour and tools could benefit this mod

klikli-dev commented 1 year ago

@ThePixelatedCat Do you have ideas for that armor?

My first thought would be, it should be something like an armor where each piece carries a spirit in it, maybe craft iesnium armor parts and then summon spirits into them.

It would be nice to figure out what stats they should have or enchantments that come with them

ThePixelatedCat commented 1 year ago

maybe netherite tier armour but you can imbue a spirit into each piece for a different effect?

ThePixelatedCat commented 1 year ago

or maybe rather than a whole armour set you can inset iesnium into a vanilla armour piece to let you bind a spirit to that armour piece

ThePixelatedCat commented 1 year ago

so at the beginning you might put a foliot into your iron armour but by the end you have a marid in your netherite armour

good ideas, that's something to work with! Thank you

It actually sounds really cool. I especially liked the idea of "binding spirits to equipment", it's a great alternative to enchantment. Only I would suggest adding a woven armor (I take it upon myself), in the manner of a robe or something like that, so that it has a wider range of possible bindings. After all, an occultist is not a blacksmith))

ThePixelatedCat commented 6 months ago

So the woven armor would have lower innate defenses than regular armor, but more options for bindings? I really like that idea.

FeellianSinger commented 6 months ago

Значит, у плетеных доспехов врожденная защита будет ниже, чем у обычных, но больше вариантов крепления? Мне действительно нравится эта идея.

exactly!

Maybe a smithing template that converts your equipment into a version that lets you bind a spirit to it for a random buff?

ThePixelatedCat commented 4 weeks ago

I like that idea, an Iesnium based smithing template. Good way of making use of new features. Where would this template be found?

ffuentesm commented 4 weeks ago

I was thinking of you either crafting it with a ritual, or you needing to summon a spirit and kill it.
