is there a way to have national holidays as an option on the calendar?

What would be the difference between a national holiday and holiday? Right now there are already two options for special dates:

• Holiday: renders as a bold date, to mimic weekend days, implying it's a holiday, day off, including national holidays.
• Event: renders with a border, something to remember the date, but not imply it's a day off.
