Invalid user credentials #68

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fill the Sites Import/Export dialog
2. Press "Export"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was expecting the tool to start exporting. Instead, a message box says
"Invalid user credentials". These user credentials are the ones I usually use
for logging in in Gmail, Sites, et al.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.3. Running from Ubuntu. Java 1.6.0_20.

Please provide any additional information below.

Inserting the username as "username@gmail.com" seems to start processing.
However, I get the following message in the console:

Retrieving site data (this may take a few minutes).
No data returned. You may have provided invalid Site information or credentials.

This issue might be related to #42
(http://code.google.com/p/google-sites-liberation/issues/detail?id=42).

The main difference is that I am not using Google Apps. Just the google.com
domain.

Looking again through the issues database, I have found out that issue #61 (
http://code.google.com/p/google-sites-liberation/issues/detail?id=61) solves my
problem.

So, all my issues are related to the misleading sample image. Could this image
be updated in order to provide a better explanation?
