When I generate transit maps, all of the lines seem to "stagger" even if the line itself is perfectly straight, so what I'd like to see is have a way to rotate or otherwise align the map before it draws. Say for example, a city has an axial north-south subway line, have it so we can set it up to have the map draw that line as a straight line and have others branch off of it as needed. As an example, New York's subway map is aligned with the Manhattan subway lines serving as the de facto North-South axis for that map.
For example, in this pic, the Lincoln stations are staggered, as are the lines for the bus line going down Lewis and Lee, despite all of them being straight and Lewis and Lee intersecting Lincoln at 90-degree angles.
