2 years ago Changed to 'Sub route' as this could also help work for 'school extras' where you want the school extras to use a dedicated vehicle, There are a number of potential options depending on how each person develops a city.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Night routes and day routes don't work very well together. A number of my routes have busier areas at night and so I want to just have those areas served at night but the only way to do this would be create another route and set it all up separate. I'd like an easier way for day and night routes to come about and work together.
Describe the solution you'd like Either, options for us to have night 'short runs' on the existing routes (so route 73 may run A-B-C during the day but B-C at night). Or, options for us to link day and night routes together for a smooth transition with night routes showing up in TLM as a 'sub' route to the core daytime route.
Also, on the eye thing which shows for routes to be shown or not when you click the transport tab, a way to show bus networks as 'day' and 'night' would be good as these networks can be very different and in my city I have 100+ routes so going through and removing any 'daytime only' routes to see my night bus network is very tedious.
Additional context If the only way to show night routes and daytime routes is using prefix', that isn't the best as it's still difficult to find if the night route relates to. Night buses commonly keep the same route number as the daytime service (albeit sometimes with a 'N' prefix or suffix) but this wouldnt show up well currently in TLM with how it works. Route colors would be different (despite being the same route) and it would be difficult for us to plan 'daytime' and 'nighttime' routes with TLM how it currently is.
