[BUG] FPS drops when trying to place stops #274

Alright, so I've been using this mod for the past half a year, and it's been working well in all my cities (even those that pushed to the game limits) and yet now I get massive lags when I try to place down a stop or even zoom in with the transport tab opened.

As an example, here's the description of the FPS variations.

  1. Before opening the transport tab, game paused, camera over near empty area - 71 FPS

  2. After opening the transport tab, game paused, camera over this same area - 45 FPS

  3. After closing the transport tab, game paused, camera over this same area - 68 FPS

So as you see, this is not a game-breaker, but it's a very annoying bug when it comes to placing stops. I'm not a developer of any kind so I don't know what causes it, and I'd be very happy if this comes to a fix. I can provide my compatibility report and screenshots.

It's a trade-off since there's a lot of extra calculation done by TLM to show the tooltip statistics. The only solution available would be disable it by settings, not available yet.
