Running script disables hotspot on pi4 #115

I'm not sure if there's been an update to raspbian, but I reflashed my pi4 with the most recent version and set up 73Linux. When I attempted to enable the hotspot, it had me reboot like it was enabling, but it did not enable it at all. I was also unable to click on the connection arrows in the top right to change network settings including creating the hotspot manually.

I reflashed with raspberry pi imager using the latest image, set up the hotspot manually and ran 73Linux again. This again made it so I cannot click the networking arrows, or start the hotspot. I tried setting up the hotspot manually and it will not allow me to enable the hotspot manually either.

It seems whenever I run the script it fully disables the networking changes and the hotspot. The installed apps are:

Ardop Ardopgui Conky Direwolf FLRig GPS GPSUpdate Gridtracker HSTools (this was not installed initially, I installed it to test after not being able to change networking or setup the hotspot manually) Pat Patmenu WJSTX XAstir YAAC

I'm not sure which of these exactly is causing the issue as I've run out of time today, however I'll uninstall them one by one and see if the networking comes back tomorrow, but I wanted to open this for tracking and to see if anyone else has run into the issue or knows of a fix.

A bit of experimenting this morning. I reflashed the card using raspberry pi imager with the latest 64 bit version of raspbian. I ran apt update and apt upgrade fully upgrading the pi. Raspi-config to enable vnc and switched the default browser to firefox. I then ran down the list of the options I had enabled above and started to enable them one by one.

I checked the release notes and noted that the hotspot tools has been depreciated (though it still shows as an install option), so that was not installed.

After each install I rebooted and was able to change networking settings. So I'll go ahead and close this as a fluke with my previous installs.
