2 years ago You can manually add a carrier now. In the patmenu2 directory, open the sms directory (~/patmenu2/sms). Then edit the cellproviders.txt file to include your carrier. Once complete, save the file. Now in Pat Menu you should be able to add the new carrier using the "Add Carriers" button.
My cell service provider is not on the current list of carriers. They do have an email domain, but there are quite a few of these smaller carriers, and I wonder if it might just be easier for people to be able to manually add a carrier from PAT Menu with a text field.
