GPS did not install properly during install. #515

GPS did not install properly during install. 'ls: cannot access '/dev/serial/by-id': No such file or directory exiting'

There was no such directory. There was only /dev/serial/by-path. Thoughts on how to get this active?

This is an upstream bug in Debian.
