Incoming reply SMS messages failing to backup.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Application automatic backup function works for capturing outgoing SMS 
messages; 
2. Incoming SMS reply messages not captured; 
3. Uninstall/reinstall of program application temporarily corrects.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

In a conversation thread, incoming SMS replies fail to be captured and recorded 
to Gmail SMS folder label.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Droid X 
System Version.2.3.340.MB810.Verizon.en.US
Android version 2.2.1

I have a Droid 2 also and my incoming messages are not being recorded.  What 
can I do to fix this?

The workaround I have been using is to uncheck the "auto backup" option box. 
When I get enough SMS messages that I want to save, I manually backup. All 
incoming/outgoing SMS will then be recorded to my Gmail account. You have to 
restart your phone after doing this or any new incoming/outgoing SMS messages 
won't be captured.
