How would I go about adding a custom variable like shirt color? Does Google
Checkout allow options an custom variables?

How do I add variables such as Size and Color to an item? Working in Sandbox
mode, I currently get item name, brief description, quantity, price, shipping
etc but not the item size & color which I need to process the order even though
size & color are included in the cart on the website.

What don't you add it in the item-description? Or you can specify the item sku
which is reprentative of size, color, etc in the merchant item id tag

Problem with item description is if you have 6 sizes xs-xxl and 4 colors you
would end up 24 item descriptions. I have seen this done on Osc website where
all parameters are picked up from the cart and passed on to GC but can't figure
out what I would need to change to get to work.
