1.2 programming guide mentions ALSA and not Pulse #737

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

ALSA driver was removed from 1.2 and Pulse driver was introduced, the
programming guide needs to be updated to reflect that.

I wasn't sure what to say about the surround support -- I kind of assumed Pulse
has it, but I don't know. If it doesn't have it, let me know and I can update
the docs to say Pulse doesn't have surround support. Or if there are other
drawbacks, let me know, since I haven't hit any (other than the bug I have
open, which seems resolvable in principle).

Thanks for the patch!

Pulse is the default driver in Linux, so I'll tweak a little bit your patch.

If you want your name in the changelog, please add it in a comment (I don't
wan't to get it wrong!).
