HD not working #8

Hello, so I got the plugin working after finding out i need to set the port for the webinterface to 80 for my Vu+ Uno 4k SE.

The EPG and SD Live TV is working fine, but HD does not work at all, it just load forever.

If this is still an issue, you might want to try to play around with your hardware decoding settings, e.g. tick "Prefer OS native DXVA or VA-API hardware decoders" or disable it completely. There are known issues with DVB streams and hardware decoders.

Servus Knackebrot !

Since im using my Enigma2 boxes years long EXCLUSIVELY via OpenWebIf stream and third party apps on TVs, Smart Boxes, Mobile Devices, im a BIGfan of your project ! It would be really great to have a All-in-One solution for everything, what Jellyfin with your plugin really can be !

Im facing the same issue as mentioned upper. Even if Transconding is OFF (which in other hands works without problems in all cases), only some SD channels are working. Some channel which are not marked as HD didnt work also.

I also noticed some other 2 bugs. First, even if i added path to picons in device (root/picon/), they are sadly not loaded. The second one is, that the app doesnt "release" the stream, only if you completely shut down Jellyfin Server. So till this point, you are not able to watch OWI stream on other device&other channel, even if the Jellyfin client app is closed. You need to close&restart the server itself.

  1. Could you provide me your FFmpeg.Transcode (or Remux) logs related to the failed stream?
  2. I'll look into the issue with picons
  3. Jellyfin has these issues when the ffmpeg process hangs, I've encountered them with other media as well. I think if we fix 1, we will also partially fix this.

Thank you for your kind words, the credit goes to the authors of the original Emby extension, I'm only maintaining it for Jellyfin.

  1. I will collect to logs for you + another fact found today : The informations i provided to you was regarding to Jellyfin App on Android Device. I made a try today on Apple Device (Safari) without native app, and all the channels was working without any problems !

  3. It is possible, but maybe there is also something else... As i mentioned, via Safari was the Stream without any problems, but the issue with "no releasing" stream was present. The only way to free up the tuner was to restart the Enigma device

Hi @knackebrot I also started to use your plugin today. First, thank you for providing this great plugin! :-)

Unfortunately, I am facing the same issue as @ronnieSVK. SD is working fine, but HD stream is not working.

As @ronnieSVK did not follow up on this, I would like to to.

But my setup is a bit different: I am using a DM900 (DVB-C), openATV with OWIF 2.2.0. Jellyfin is running in a non-privileged LXC container.
