[metadata] update repostatus badge? #1

It now says "WIP – Initial development is in progress, but there has not yet been a stable, usable release suitable for the public." but the software is more mature than that. I'd suggest "Active – The project has reached a stable, usable state and is being actively developed."

Similarly, the pyproject.toml says "Development Status :: 2 - Pre-Alpha", which seems way too low?

Valid points. I've updated the repostatus to Active, and the development status in pyproject.toml, which will be pushed to PyPi on the next release.
