I booted up xfce4 in my Arch VM and I couldn't move my mouse at all.

Never mind -- I can, I just had to remove

-chardev qemu-vdagent,id=spice,name=vdagent,clipboard=on \
-device virtio-serial-pci \
-device virtserialport,chardev=spice,name=com.redhat.spice.0 \
