Same issue with Kannel Revision "svn-r5307M" as well!
please check #143 this can fix your issue.
if you are using kannel default installation in ubuntu 20.04 you may have a compilation issue.
sudo apt-get install kannel-dev
for that, you have to do change source code little
#include "gwlib/gw-regex.h" => #include "gwlib/regex.h"
this has been resolved
Hello everybody,
I'm trying to compile ksmppd on ubuntu 20.04 but I'm getting some errors on libsmpp.la it seems like the problem is in the recursive Makefile but I see everything correct according to the GNU docs.
I cloned the kannel using svn, the revision is r5306 and compiled everything okay, but when I want to compile ksmppd, I did the ./boootstrap.sh:

I even commented on the lines in ksmppd.c that reference the config.h and comment the config.h include and same output. If you have the chance to check or point me to the correct point will be helpful. Thanks!
