Login not working on desktop #308

Okay, so I recently refreshed my Nextbook tablet/laptop hybrid to try and fix an issue with the time, but when I tried to log back into FimFiction through Internet Explorer, it takes me to the login screen just fine, all my stuff is there, username and password, but when I click the green login button, nothing happens, it will not redirect me to my account. It just stays on the login page with the button showing that faded look and loading animation and when I put my cursor on the button it changes to an "access denied" symbol. I've tried refreshing the page, and even tried deleting some of my cookies but it still won't work. I've tried other websites to see if they also have this issue and they load just fine but it seems the desktop version of Fimfiction seems to be broken, and I'm almost about to lose patience. It works just fine on my iPhone but not here. I'd really appreciate it if you could figure this out.

looks to me to be an issue with how the site HTTP requests are done. @knighty Just so we know, how what server system do you use to host the site. it may be this issue is on there end or your local sub-system.

@SplashSurfer216 I am just a fellow user helping @knighty out by looking over the issues and seeing what level if any support is needed, I uploaded one myself and it's a low level issue.

At best this is a high level issue, if this keeps up the active users will not be 100% correct. Keep in mind this issue is on the server/site side of the admin system and @knighty and team will work in on this side and let someone on the server side know so they can do it from there end. thank you for informing us of the system issue. check back every now and again to check the state of your issue.

@AndrewTru I recently got back from work to check if things were fixed after awhile, when I got to the login screen, it still wont sign me in and redirect me to my account even if I try and refresh it. What's even stranger is that on that as well, the black bar on the bottom of my screen, wont show that its loading with those traveling white dots like it does on other websites. I'm just checking if @knighty and the team is still figuring out the issue.

Update: I checked again just now this morning, and there's still no progress. Are you guys still working on the issue? How long do you suppose this process will take?
