Notifications that won't go away. #408

I have notifications that won't go away.

I've seen people here mention unread chapters that don't show up, but I think this is different, because my unread chapters seem to be working fine. If I remember right, the bell shows you notifications for when people like your stories, and so on. Just to be sure, I followed the instructions someone left in one of the threads about unchecking the "Track Unread" box in all my libraries, but it didn't help, so I don't think it's that.

I'm using Firefox on my desktop, but it happens on mobile, too. It started with just one mystery notification, but it's been like this for years, and now it's up to four, and I don't know why.

I'm not sure what changed, but after having this issue for years, the phantom notifications are suddenly gone.
