'View Mature' toggle not working #425

The 'View Mature' toggle seems to always be reverting back to its original position.

I realize this isn't easy for me to show it with screenshots. But here's the issue as well as I can describe it: When clicking on the 'View Mature' toggle switch, there's no disclaimer that comes up asking the user to confirm their choice like how I remember it. The switch seems to be set to True if I do not do anything like load a new page, because the switch goes back to False. The site does not update by itself to show mature content. Refreshing the page after a while doesn't seem to do anything either, it just puts the switch back to False.

I had this issue a few months ago but thought I'd give the site time to fix it, surely some others were experiencing this?

I experience this as well when using an ad blocker with the site.

Workaround: Disable ad blocker. Toggle mature. Pop up will appear, press confirm. Mature will now be on. Turn on ad blocker again, and mature will stay on when refreshed.
