For the issue #160 I created a test workflow that enountered and this problem:
If I write a .png with the "Image Writer" and then read the written .png with Knime one of the two following cases occurs:
If there is a transparent part in a png, a "write-and-re-read" will cause the colors to be messed up.
However if there is no transparent part in the png, everything seems to be fine here (using Gnome Ubuntu). Reading a png, writing it and rereading afterwards works as intended.
