On Sign Up, if a user gets an error message on email, username or password, when they fix it, they aren't allowed into the app

They are generally shown an error that the email and/or username already exist (as if the records already exist). However, in reality they just had an error.

Also, in this specific case, if they Refresh their browser, they are taken into the site to the avatar selection page.
