New bundle versions should be automatically uploaded to the central / merged repo during the automatic build process

There is one last step to add. Automatic switch/merge of uploaded maven repo. Right now this switch is manual

Also, unfortunately token based sftp is not supported by the gradle-publish plugin yet. scp support is also missing.
