Don’t you think the titlebar is cluttered enough already? Statusbar rather? I’m also not sure anybody wants to see 2012-03-07_AreaX14_mag1 there…

I also think that the status bar would be nicer, the title bar is already cluttered with autosafe and the full path to the current annotation file.

I’d add at least add the experiment name to the dataset load widget and the dataset informations below the zoom settings. You think it has to be prominent somewhere? (as i said 2012-03-07_AreaX14_mag1 isn’t that nice to look at)
