If you're troubleshooting, remember that we've stopped requiring verifications of new email addresses, at least for now, so this'll be impossible to duplicate on the production site.
Temporarily fixed by turning off verification email. Long-term fix was switching transactional mail over to Mandrill. Only step remaining is to turn verification messages back on and confirm the system's correct function, and then we can close this.
Account verification turned back on.
On Dec. 30, three users reported creating user accounts but not receiving a confirmation email allowing them to confirm their userhood. All three do have accounts, presumably unconfirmed.
One user who complained signed up as a user on Dec. 28 (Jennifer Haile).
Two signed up on Dec. 30 (Maggie Cannon and Nancy Bratton).
Holly was unable to replicate the error by creating a new account.
