Filament runout sensor #215

Basicly it´s already in here but it´s closed without any information. See this issue

Would love to use my filament runout sensor with octoprint. Any possibility?

Hi, Unfortunately this is not that easy and the best solution would be to connect the filament sensor directly to the Raspberry Pi and configure it there. Sorry.

Do you have an idea what a solution can look like if i don´t use an Raspberry Pi? 🤔 I have OctoPrint running in an Docker container on my server.
