Fix branching of pipeline developmental #11

Made an error while creating pipeline.r1 branch. Ended up with the code in both master and the branch!

Fixed that up by eventually resorting to a reset --hard to before introduction of the code and redoing the branch steps... yay duplication of work.

No one else committed during this time, so nothing was lost.
