Code and resources for the 2nd edition of "Hands-on Machine Learning with R: An applied book covering the fundamentals of machine learning with R" by Boehmke & Greenwell
[ ] The Class imbalances discussion should be moved into its own section; we should also call out issues around re-balancing classes (which often causes more problems than it solves).
[ ] The MSE in classification is more often referred to as the Brier score. We should also highlight that the Brier score and log loss are examples of proper scoring rules; more useful for probability predictions and assessing accuracy of probabilities.
[ ] Lift charts and calibration/reliability diagrams should be introduced (and used in some of the examples later in the book).
