Sorry bother you guys... when I remove the battery unfortunately had a NIMH battery where had to be an LITHIUM. I bought my roomba 980 from amazon as "Condition: Used - Like New Item is in original, pristine packaging.' But, now I realized what`s happened, probbally, some malicious person bought this Roomba 980 changed the Lithium battery by an NiMH battery and returned it to Amazon.com
And this silly guy here bought it with wrong battery and now I`m having the decribed issues.
As I bought in US and brought to Brazil the warranty is voided, so I need to spent more USD99.00, wich worths about BRL400,00 (my country currency). Thats broke my legs, and I
m very disapointed
Hi All, First of all sorry post this as an issue, but I don`t know who can help me. I have some troubles with my battery charge. Some times take more than 20 hours to do a full charge.
Using Dorita980 api, I discovered that the Roomba detecteded my battery type as a "nimh" not "lith" as expected.
Anyone know how to correct this? And if this wrong battery type detection may be causing this long charge time issue?
At google I do not find anything, and I bought my Roomba 980 in USA and brought to Brazil, witch according manual, avoids warranty. So I don`t know what to do.
