The way Lilach's group does it is to just add the scores together. This is equivalent to taking the average... it's just a difference of a scaling term. Let's stick with that for now!
Once you have identified the highest scores on the ADHD survey, see how their academic scores compare to the average for the rest of the kids. Also look at average emotion survey responses - esp. happy, sad, motivated.
