Is this GME library a descendant of mpayne's m0.6.1, or is it branched from the earlier builds, skipping the changes that were in that version (https://bitbucket.org/mpyne/game-music-emu/wiki/Home)?

This GME library is a descendant of Blargg's original pre-0.6 release. Someone is welcome to look over it and see if the necessary changes exist in either the master branch, or the currently-in-use vgmplay branch.
