"Default browser should now be opened" - but it's not #164

When I start Spotify plugin, it writes "Default browser should now be opened" but then nothing happen. It just loading (circle animation) and fail. I run in in Kodi 19 on Qnap NAS. I cannot alt-tab to browser. Any possibility to run it on NAS? Thanks.

I have this exact issue too. Using latest version of HD Station 4.2.4 and Kodi v19.4.3.0. I tried turning on multitasking in HD Station too and opened a chrome browser window, but still nothing happens.

I have Kodi installed on a Win10 laptop and the addon works fine there. I don't remember if I ever had to do any other kind of authorization on it when I first set it up, but on in my Spotify Account>Apps settings, it does show that a Kodi app is authorized.

I even tried copying all the addon and addon settings from my laptop to the proper location on my NAS, but nothing changed.

Would really love to switch to Kodi on my qnap but I use this addon on too much to migrate without it. Bummer.

Same here on RaspBerryPi 4 with Libreelec 11.x There is even now browser to be used....
