Lag when switching channels #400

when the timeshift mode is on, when switching channels, there is a small lag of 3-5 seconds, as well as when stop channel viewing. can U fix it somehow? version pvr.iptvsimple and kodi.ffmpegdirect - last from git.

I so far have not made much progress on figuring out why or what causes this delay I’m afraid. I would like to fix it though. Just not sure where to start.

I have not had any luck figuring this out I’m afraid.

There was fix applied recently with should help with this. Did it improve?

in the 20th version of Kodi, the problem seems to be solved. there they made some changes to the PVR API. in the 19th without changes.

The PVR API had not changed in v20 yet.

Do you know which changes?

maybe not in api. Today I updated it Kodi from git. you can see the latest commits in the pvr files, what has changed there.
