Free and open source application that allows users to read manga and stream anime from a variety of sources including BitTorrent available on Android, iOS, macOS, Linux and Windows
First of all, this app is amazing. How the heck is this using Flutter, go, Rust, and javascript in one package? (rhetorical)
I am a bit worried about the app letting you easily watch stuff over torrents.
Does the app also reupload stuff? Usually when not explicitly blocked it does, which could become very problematic in some countries.
In Germany for example, big law firms are sending out mass cease and desist letters, asking you to pay e.g. 900EUR.
Anime used to be fine, but got more popular recently. "A good friend of mine" got such a letter for torrenting "Weathering with you".
I would really apprieciate to add a warning somewhere (maybe I missed it?)
Add a disclaimer that torrenting uploads stuff, which can break copyright distribution law in your country
Or add a disclaimer that this is using torrenting, but is blocked from uploading, so should not break copyright distribution law
This app is so easy to use, I believe a few unexperience users, could just use torrenting Streams and not know until they get such a letter in the mail, which could mean a lot of trouble.
