If you do re-brand, here are some suggestions.
NFS 4 Win (To the point that it is NFS4, for windows, with a slight play on words) NFS 4TW (The above, but with a play on words for the abbreviation FTW) Windows NFS Reloaded (A bit of a mouthful, but keeps part of the original title) MSNFS (Short and sweet. Easy to type into google or a package manager such as Win-get/Chocolatey) Phoenix NFS (Not only cool, but also a nod to the fact that it is a rebirth of an old project)
I came across this and I'm a bit confused on what I'm meant to do to compile this.
Instructions seem to come from the project of which this was forked, and say that you need to use Visual Studio 2010. Visual Studio 2010 is no longer available, Nor is its Redistributables. Well, from Microsoft directly anyway... However, commit suggests that it's been updated for Visual Studio 2019...
You may want to update the read me to specify that this is a conservancy project that is trying to drag the code base up for modern Tooling, And update the instructions for building and installing to what tooling it has currently been updated to support.
If you plan to do more than just getting it compiling again on recent visual studios, You may want to consider making this a fully fledged fork and re-brand.
