about task scheduling #386

Hi, I'm studying task scheduling in click recently, and have some questions:

what's the difference between adaptive scheduler and BalancedThreadSched?
can they both be applied to userlevel?
BalancedThreadSched only schedules tasks on the scheduled task list, but what if tasks are on the pending list?
why does FromDevice for userlevel with pcap use select and run_task at the same time?
