Check if linux_true is defined #504

Fix the compilation error in #493.
Tested with config options ./configure --prefix=/usr --sbindir=/usr/bin --enable-all-elements on Linux 5.18.7.
Should be backward compatible, but haven't yet tested it in older Ubuntu machines.

Tried userlevel in 22.04 and 18.04 too. Thanks!

I had to revert, this breaks compilation of linuxmodule. Reverted to the old method. I will push docker for Linuxmodule if you wnat to try a clean fix.
