Database access denied when perform admin settings #245

Dear Prof Kohler,

I come across an access denied problem when changing the admin settings:

It seems to set my database hostname to "%"? However, I have properly set up the dbName, dbUser, dbPassword and dbHost in conf/options.php. And other place of my HotCRP website works fine for me.

Could you shed light on how it could happen?

Sorry, just found I need to ask the database team to give me the lock table privilege for MySQL.
