Hi,

It's very interesting to see other people's modifications—so few people actually are open about it.

It looks like you are using HotCRP for an ACM conference. Is there a problem with using HotCRP.com? Any documentation help you need?

Hi,

first: Thank you for all your work on HotCRP, this is a great system!

Yes, we are using it for an ACM associated conference, however its not an ACM-sponsored one, but instead ACM-in cooperation - actually, https://www.wipsce.org. Thus, hotcrp.com would not be free to use for us, which was one reason for thinking about hosting a own site. Another idea - which is not realized yet - was integrating with our registration system for the conference, which we thought would be harder with the officially hosted version. However, our ACM export is only very restricted, however it was enough for us last year.

A main thing I had to adopt for our conference, as I found no chance to realize this by configuring the default system was to ensure that conflicting submissions are completely hidden from PC members (particularly: https://github.com/AGrillenberger/hotcrp-wipsce/commit/0f8849b568a5ae5516be93a6dc6a431e30fd75a1, https://github.com/AGrillenberger/hotcrp-wipsce/commit/56c085bd1bbbc8596016639a90564a217f723c7c, https://github.com/AGrillenberger/hotcrp-wipsce/commit/376e804990842a3c85778c2a42d0c3e6b108a130). However, I do not consider my quick fixes to be of enough to quality to propose them as features here.

Best Andreas
