Title: General Coordinate (QED)(GR)PIC Code Entity
Abstract: Entity is a general coordinate (QED)(GR)PIC Code for high-energy plasma-astrophysical simulations. The code solves FDTD Maxwell's equations coupled with the equations of particle motion in general coordinate curvilinear basis, which allows to simulate the environments of neutron stars and black holes on the body-fitted grid. Architecturally, Entity uses Kokkos library for performance portability. In my talk I will briefly outline the algorithmic archetypes that went into designing the some of the key routines of the code, and some of the challenges we are currently attempting to solve.
