I'm writing a script that changes the system-wide default settings for MATE's panel background. It is choosing a dark background for themes with window buttons that has white text, and vice versa.
Can you please give me a hand and tell me how I can detect which file and which line(s) in that file that are responsible to produce a white text on the window buttons on the window list?
Tested to open a few programs that came shipped with a distro:
I tried to replace all files with the original High Contrast theme, but nothing happened.
@davidhedlund I stopped using GNOME a few years after creating this repo. I'm afraid I'll be of little help. Recommend asking in the relevant GNOME mailing lists.
