Caching not working #119

I've set my app/_cache/ perm to 777, but I still see no cache files being generated.

Is there something else I'm missing, or an option hidden behind a flag?

I checked my recent installation and it is also missing the cached pages and templates. (_cache folder is 777).

Thanks Edit: I updated to the latest version and it's caching pages, templates and images.
