per-item commenting #21

yo, this is just so i can learn about how github works; don't actually expect you to pull this in :)

So I want to merge this change in, my only issue is with the awkward captions.stacey file name. I was thinking of making stacey ignore text files which begin with _s. In that case, perhaps _captions.txt may be more appropriate?
