What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Tether to usb, fails. Works with stock rom
2. Tether on wifi works intermittently, sometimes no ip address on the client
device, sometimes works and then simply stops working

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
INternet or ping to the xperia S doesnot work
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows xp 32 bit and windows 8 64 bit tried (fastboot, sony pc companion and
required drivers installed

Xperia S using custom rom beta3, pc side, tried mac os 10.9, 10.9.2, windows
xp, windows 7
stock rom all of the above works stable on usb, but still has exact same issue
on wifi
the exact same issue tested over USB and works stable and flawless when
tethering over bluetooth with max osx / windows xp(32) and windows 8(64),
however the max speed over bluetooth is not able to go over 2mbps probably due
to the bandwidth limitation of bluetooth itself
