App Airdroid causes screen to go all back

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install app airdroid (for transferring files via wifi) from play.
2. Open the app and connect your system to phone using qr code reader given in 
the app itself
3. Screen will go all black! Phone needs to force restart to get back to normal

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

App is unstable as rom is unstable! As its beta, looking forward to 
development, just letting know if it helps in someway
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cm11, open semc

Well, go make a better ROM.
You didn't even provide a logcat, so invalidós.
