It turns out that Streamer Mode
darkness boosted the cloud brightness unintentionally... oops.
Try this out and tell me what you think: Pixel-Perfect-Latest-Beta-1.zip
What the clouds were supposed to look like:
thank you for a prompt response, really appreciate it! weirdly, i still have that problem even while using the latest beta, with any lighting option
on another note, i just noticed how the vanilla game has a farther cloud render distance. any way i could increase that when using the shaders? now i cant help but notice how short the clouds get cut in the sky. not a huge hurdle compared to the lightness of clouds, but still, i wanted to ask while i have you

That's weird... Could you send another screenshot with the beta pack, and also the GPU you're using?
Also, I'm working out the cloud render distance in v1.6
.
sure, have it here 👌 screenshot attached

I think you're replying to this by email, which then gets repackaged into a github chat - TLDR I don't see the attachment, if you are replying by email you need to log into github and use its interface, you should be able to drag and drop the file onto the text window and it embeds automatically. In case you don't have it, here's the conversation link.
TYSM
Does this fix it?
i tried it, but unfortunately it doesnt 🙁.
the archive has the same name as the one you sent before, could it be an old file you sent by mistake? if not, at this point i think it's probably a problem on my end

That is a different file, it's just the default name my compiler uses for beta builds.
If it's still not working, I'll try to look into it.
No promises though, I'm planning to completely redo clouds in 1.6
, so I may prioritize that.
Sorry I couldn't help you more.
absolutely adore this shaderpack! love the high contrast, saturated style, love the darkness options and love the name!!
one thing that i dont love, and what prevents me from playing with it on all the time, is the sheer oddity of the night sky. the way the clouds in the night are almost as white as the moon is just jarring — they barely change color compared to daytime clouds! even shaderless, vanilla minecraft has better colored clouds, which darken as time passes
i beg you to look into this
