[FR] - Review in a Tab #3

Hello!

I loved this plugin because it is designed for different contexts, well-documented, and allows grouping by keywords. You did an amazing job here!

I saw in your portfolio that your focus is on creating learning tools—which makes me very confident in unifying my review system in The Queue.

My suggestion is to add an option in the settings to open The Queue review in a fixed tab or a pop-up.

For me, a pop-up makes the text smaller, and I can't edit and return to the review queue.

The idea is to review in a tab, similar to the Repeat plugin.

By opening it this way, it’s possible to edit the note, return to the tab, and decide what to do with the review. This is a way to maintain the spirit of incremental improvement, allowing for note enhancement without losing the review "queue."

Would this functionality be possible?

Hi,

thank you for your kind words :)

I will look into it; but I think it should be very possible to add such a setting, especially if a similar plugin is doing it already. I can't tell you how fast it will be implemented, but I like the idea — I'll let you know when I know more

I'm just chiming in. Also love the plugin, but sadly can't really use it right now. When I edit a note and press the The Queue icon again, it opens up a new note, not the one I edited. This renders the entire plugin unusable since I edit almost every note that turns up.

A permanent review tab or window would be awesome. Fixing it so that the behaviour explained in the documentation works would also be good.

Hope this gets fixed!

Thank you for your comment — that is definitely not intended behavior. The previous note should show up again, unless it is deleted in the meantime. I will look into this, sorry for the inconvenience.
