Problem killing Infector of Souls #1521

So my Hammer Paladin tries to kill Infector of Souls. Then goes to town because of HP chicken, and when it comes back, Infector of Souls is aleady dead because of the blessed hammer. Then bot says "fail to kill Infector of Souls" and passes Diablo.

Any way to prevent this?

how much life, def, block, dps and players in game you have?

if he's going to town due to config.townhp then dont use townhp - just carry enough pots, enable pot picking in pickit, and toughen up your din so he doesnt die

I think the issue lays simply in fire resistances. Infector of the Souls, well not him specifically but the entire group, do allot of fire damage. Try to up your fire resistance, and if that isn't anough

There is another way out; get a sanctuary aura merc (act 3 merc with lawbringer/phoenix). This stuns all undead monsters (aka everyone in choas). Its pretty annoying to relocate all the time, but if you do a fast diarun, this speeds it up + makes it doable without any decent res or even alright gear (i did it in a full game with 12/12/12/12 res). Only problem is you really need to give your merc a phoenix because he will die easily.
