to many crashes #1844

dealing with a absurd amount of crashes some times runs go smoothly no issues so im positive its not in the config or anywhere else 1 time it will run with very min crashes other times it will crash 1/4 of the time all my sorcs share the same copy and past charater config and it will not do this to all of them at the same time some will do fine some will be crash riddled but then the next day it will switch the one that did fine will crash tons and the other that crashed alot will be ok its very confusing

i have not modified anything in the common folder doesnt seem to be a network issue as i tried multiple known good networks with no issues and have seen it crash myself with no lag

error that shows up in console: Window has unexpectedly exited... starting profile Crash info : Script : (current script running)

its very intermittent and doesnt matter what script there running at the time and cant seem to reproduce it on demand it just happens on its own

i have watched 1 profile straight for 1 hour and saw it crash 2 times in the that time 1 time was chestmania (took wp to lk started casting bo and crashed) the other time was at the very begining of the run while she was in the middle of killing andy just crashed

THINGS I HAVE TRIED: uninstall and reinstalling kolbot completely (downloading the zip and tired using svn) i have updated verisons of: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (or higher)

both game.exe and d2bot have been set to run as admin i have tried setting capability settings for both programs as well if i have any capability settings turned on (either it be windows 7/ windows 8/ any windows xp service packs/ etc) any of them profiles will not load at all i will deal with an endless loop of Window has unexpectedly exited... starting profile so i have to have these turned off or i can bot at all

i have been dealing with this for months and would like to know a fix please i am completely stomped and have exhausted everything and anything i can think of is there anything else i can try?? what am i missing?? my friends all do not have this problem if i have to i can pay fg for assistance please help me

I have noticed that the Chestmania causes a lot of crashes for some reason. After I changed Act3 chest search stuff the crashes kind a went down a little. Still happens, its just a quality in the bot so don't worry too much about the crashing. Act 4 and especially Act 5 likes to crash often aswell, no idea why or how to fix. Baal runs are pain in the arse.

Ccleaner solved my crashing issues Now I can go for days 24/7 np Ccleaner pro Clean your internet crap pc files and registry It’s flawless

if CCleaner solved your issue, then it's your PC that is the issue not the bot. :'D I run CCleaner once a day to clean and repair registry. Definitely not there the crash issue. It's just that Chestmania crashes a lot, act4 and 5 crashes a lot. It's funny because all other acts work fine.

I can’t believe it but this, combined with a needed windows update, seems to have fixed the issue for me. Only spent about 30 combined hours trying to fix it so thank god for this suggestion!

I think the problem is when you create a char with the same name as an other one in the past. I think, some where is writing in the directory and the bot is crashing because of it. This is a supposition, because bot never crashed exept when i doing a same name char. And yes, clear directory with ccleaner solve the problem ;) thx for the info!

I noticed quite a few crashes of mine were during casting BO as well
