CDkey in use issue #867

Have 2 cdkeys from blizz, so definitely not bung cdkeys, but everytime I try to run 2 bots it says "cd key in use".

Have set them up with easy names to distinguish between, have ensured right sets are in input, and have even checked the json file in DATA to make sure nothing was entered incorrectly there.

As far as I can tell both cdkeys were entered correctly. Is there something else I should look at? Any fixes?

Im having same problem, been over 12 hours since entering new cd key and char config and still getting cd key in use error? Anyone know?

I had this issue even though both profiles had there own key list and in the keylist they where for sure different keys it would still say in use I believed the cd key changer thing wasn't working correctly and was just using the default cdkey that diablo was installed with after much trying to fix it I jut gave up and did a brand new svn install and that fixed my issue hopefully you guys can figure out why its doing it to you

the only way ive been able to get my bots to work after that happened was delete all my profiles and make new ones...

I'm having this issue right now. Bots ran smoothly until last night 6/12/2020, when I started getting this error. All my keys are correct and all my separate profiles are using their correct keys.

I deleted my SVN checkout, rechecked out and still the same thing. There are no game.exe or Diablo 2 processes running on my machine. I've restarted my computer, killed my internet connection, no avail.

Does someone have a fix for this?

@tonisjwhite I began having this issue last night as well. I've experienced this problem in the past, but deleting all my profiles, and recreating them worked. This time, however, it doesn't seem to be resolving the issue. Are you still having problems as well?

@ithinkthisrobo Yes having the same problem after taking all the steps above. I looked at the discord, and it looks like Blizzard did something on their end. The guess is that maybe it will take 24 - 48 hours to clear the cd-key lock on their side.

@tonisjwhite Thanks for updating! Whaddya think - ban wave incoming? I was anticipating one with the 20th anniversary, but I still doubt they'd actually pull the trigger.

@ithinkthisrobo I'd rather not speculate on something like this, heh. It could have been something as simple as Blizzard load-balancing their server with the queue times we were seeing recently.

hitting the same issue, I used to be able to run 6 bots, I checked my previous bot config(which is the config for running 6 bots, looks all same).

Have you guys figured it out?
